I offer professional Career Education and Certification in Holistic Therapies at our retreat in Port Alberni BC. Our Shiatsu Certification is recognized by the Shiatsu Therapy Association of BC and the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada for membership as a Shiatsu Therapist. We also have recognized Certification in Energy Medicine, Chinese Reflexology, Reiki, Hot Stone Therapy, Oriental Bodywork, Acupressure, Jin Shin, and Chair Shiatsu. My professional journey began over 30 years ago in Oita Japan. Energy Work and Natural Medicine have always felt like home to me. Being able to study in a culture that embraces the natural world in healing added understanding and ability to a way of working that already made sense. I solidified my training with Pauline Wolfe-Kerr and the amazing teachers of Windsong School of Healing Ltd. and opened Eastern Arts Therapy Clinic Ltd. in 2002. There I have had the honor of working with clients both 2 and 4 legged, developing a style that integrates Energy Medicine with Oriental Bodywork to create Integrated Shiatsu Therapy and 4 Paws Bodytalk among other recognized modalities. I have continued my learning to add many therapies to my healing work and took over the administration and teaching in Windsong College of Healing Arts after purchasing the school from my mentor in 2009. I am currently the Lead Instructor for the Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Shiatsu Therapist Diploma, a Subject Matter Specialist for The Ministry of Advanced Education PTIB Branch, and continue to serve clients at Eastern Arts Therapy Clinic Ltd in Port Alberni, BC.
